The Watch
What does the Hume Watch actually do?
Think of it as a wrist-worn tracker built around watching your healthspan, not your workout stats. Off a single charge good for up to 14 days, it keeps tabs on biological age, metabolic momentum, blood pressure, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, and skin temperature.
Does my phone need to be nearby constantly?
Data collection and storage happen on the watch itself, with the free Hume Health app (available on iOS and Android) responsible for syncing everything and surfacing your daily insights. Keeping your phone constantly nearby isn't necessary — the watch banks several days' worth of readings and catches up the instant your phone comes back within range.
Can it handle getting wet?
Yes. An IP68 rating on the Hume Watch means dust can't get in, and it can handle being submerged in 1 meter of water for as long as 2 hours at a time. Showers, pool time, and sweat-drenched workouts are all completely fine while wearing it.
How dependable are the sensor readings?
5 LEDs and 4 photodiodes work together on the Hume Watch to sample biometric signals at a rate that outpaces most comparable devices, backed by accuracy testing done both internally and through independent outside labs. Optical wrist sensors in general can drift slightly based on fit, skin tone, and movement — for the most reliable numbers, keep it snug, sitting roughly a finger's width above your wrist bone.
Pricing & Checkout
What's the current asking price?
The promotional price right now sits at $207, a markdown from the usual $295 (that's 30% off). Pay it once and you're done — no subscription is tied to any of the core health-monitoring functionality.
Is upgrading to Premium worthwhile?
Entirely up to you, and priced at $8.99/month, this tier layers AI-driven coaching and more in-depth healthspan analysis on top of what's already free — every core metric stays included for good with your original purchase.
Can HSA or FSA funds be used?
Yes, the Hume Watch works with both HSA and FSA. Pre-tax health savings dollars can be applied right when you check out.
How secure is the checkout process?
Every payment moves through a checkout process that's encrypted and PCI-compliant, and your full card information never lands on our own infrastructure.
Shipping
How soon does an order go out?
Purchases typically go out the door within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, arrival time hinges on where you're located, but domestic deliveries usually land within 3–5 business days.
Does shipping cover international orders?
Yes — free shipping applies globally on every single order, with no size or spend requirement attached.
Returns & Warranty
What's the return timeframe?
You've got a full 45 days after delivery to request a refund, even for a unit that's been opened and used. Every step of that process is detailed on our Refund & Returns policy.
What warranty comes with the device?
Every Hume Watch includes a 1-year hardware warranty at no additional cost. Want it to last longer? A 10-year extended option is offered at checkout for $31, protecting hardware and sensors for as long as you own the device.
App & Account
Can I pull my biomarker history out of the app?
Absolutely, and there's no waiting period — export it directly through the Hume Health app any time you'd like. Since it's your data to begin with, nothing about exporting it is ever restricted.
