What follows sets the ground rules for humewatch.com and the Hume Health mobile app (referred to together as the "Services"), run by Hume Health Corp. Whether you're checking out, signing up for an account, or just browsing the Services, you're agreeing to everything laid out on this page.

1. Who Qualifies To Buy

To place an order at humewatch.com or open a Hume Health account, you need to be 18 or older, or have reached adulthood under the laws where you live. Children aren't who these Services were built for, and we make no deliberate effort to collect data from anyone under 13.

2. How An Order Actually Works

When you submit an order, you're formally offering to buy a Hume Watch — and whatever add-ons, like the extended warranty — at the price shown on the page. There are situations where we'll cancel or reject an order: suspected fraud, a mistake in pricing, or stock running out are the main ones, and you'll get a complete refund if that happens.

USD is the default currency for pricing unless we say otherwise, and prices can shift without warning — though nothing changes retroactively for an order that's already gone through.

4. Where Health Claims Stand

Think of the Hume Watch as a consumer wellness gadget meant to shed light on broad lifestyle and health trends — nothing more clinical than that. It is explicitly not a medical device, and it makes no attempt to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent illness. Numbers like biological age, metabolic momentum, or an illness indicator come from sensor data run through proprietary algorithms, offered as wellness estimates rather than a stand-in for what a licensed healthcare provider would tell you.

Run any medical decision by an actual doctor first, and if something serious comes up, get urgent care right away — regardless of what the app happens to be showing you at that moment.

5. Protecting Your Login

Whatever takes place under your Hume Health account is ultimately on you, which means your login credentials deserve real protection. Spot anything that looks off with your account? Get in touch immediately.

6. Lines We Ask You Not To Cross

Reverse-engineering or otherwise tampering with the Hume Watch's hardware or software, in any way that runs afoul of the law, isn't permitted. Neither is using the Services to trample on someone else's rights, nor attempting to breach, disrupt, or gain unauthorized entry into our systems.

7. Who Owns The Brand And Everything On This Site

"Hume Watch," "Hume Band," "Hume Health," and the branding tied to them are property of Hume Health Corp. Copyright and intellectual property protections extend to the device's design, the app itself, and every piece of content published here — none of which can be reproduced without our green light.

8. What Our Liability Actually Covers

Aside from the concrete warranty spelled out in our Refund & Returns policy, no additional guarantees come attached to the Services, insofar as the law lets us say that. Any indirect or consequential harm stemming from using the product or Services falls outside Hume Health Corp's liability, again to whatever extent that's legally permissible.

9. If We Update This Page

From time to time, these Terms get revised, with each change reflected by a fresh "Last updated" date up top. Once a revision goes live, sticking around and using the Services means you're now operating under the updated version.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

Wherever Hume Health Corp is legally based is where the governing consumer and commercial law comes from for these Terms, set aside from any conflict-of-law arguments.
